Nails Q&A

9.9.15

Hey guys! Do you face some issues with your nails? Do you want some advice to overcome these problems? Just keep reading!

  • White spots on my nails?
These spots are called leukonychia. It can happened due to an injury (it usually takes some time to appear after the injury) or due to protein or calcium deficiency.

Solution: Add to your diet food with calcium or protein such as fish, yogurt, nuts and drink orange juice.

  • Weak nails?
You probably have weak nails due to the fact that either you paint your nails a lot without let them calm (especially with gel polish) or you do chores like washing the dishes which make your nails really weak.

Solution: Use a hardener at least for a week without paint your nails over it. There are some hardeners like ''Nail Experts-Strong results by Avon" which if it dries, it doesn't have the look of a clear polished nail as it absorbs the liquid and you can then paint your nails as usually and it hardens your nails in a minute.

  • Discoloured nails?
This will happen if you used a nail polish without a base coat. It leaves its colour on your nails and you cannot remove it with nail polish remover.

Solution: Take a bowl and put hot water in there. Take a lemon and squeeze it there. Then, put your nails in the bowl and take them out when the water is cold. Or you can take a buffer and buff your nails until the colour is gone but this will weaken your nail alot.
  • Wide nails?
People usually have wide nails because they cut them completely with a curved direction.

Solution: Stop cutting them with this way and try to cut them horizontal in a straight line, with the corners. You can also file them by their sides gently and vertically.

I hope my advice is helpful:) I will post a new manicure in Friday, so stay tuned! If you have other problems, comment down below so in my next post I'm going to give you some advice! Thank you:)
